After taking my son into the speech therapist for several years, his doctor suggested having hearing tests performed. Since he could not understand the directions for the clinic hearing exam, he was sent out to the audiologist for intensive testing. The testing process included a pressure test to check the eardrums for normal function. The audiologists had my son participate in a game that allowed them to test his hearing abilities. At the end of the test, the audiologist determined that a few changes needed to be made. I would like to help other parents understand tests performed to check their kids' hearing.
